This is a nine digit number that appears on all checks. ABA stands for American Bankers Association. It is also referred to
as the transit routing number. The ABA number identifies which bank the account is from.
When sending funds from one bank to another, whether it is by check, wire or ACH, you need the correct ABA number to have it transmit
to the proper place.
